Brown was certainly a possibility when we repeated the breeding of Elysium and Wahoo that produced handsome appy boy, Chincoteague, but we love Layla anyway! Same gorgeous fleece as her full brother only in a solid medium brown. The combination of our Wahoo and Highpoint lines have been consistently high quality, Layla is no exception!
Layla is built like a tank, which is not necessarily what you would say for a female cria, but this girl is solid!
Her 2026 histogram info is in, SD is under 4! AFD: 19.1, SD: 3.8, CF: 99.4% Check it out!
STRONG BUILD
SPOT ON CONFORMATION
STYLE TO THE FLEECE IS ALL THAT YOU COULD WANT WITH CONSISTENT CRIMP THROUGHOUT THE BLANKET, INTO THE SHOULDER, THE RUMP, AND ALL THE WAY UP THE NECK TO THE TOPKNOT.
EXCELLENT DENSITY!
Layla just turned 1 and is already of good size and emotionally ready to breed. Where we live we will wait until next year to breed her but, if you're somewhere that does fall or winter breeding, this girl could provide you with a 2027 cria. If she stays here, we will take her to the 2027 spring shows.
FULL BROTHER WAHOO'S CHINCOTEAGUE JUST TOOK RESERVE CHAMP AT TXOLAN!
Do you have an appaloosa male that you might want to breed her to? I think there's a decent shot at getting spots out of her.
