Handsome full Bolivian male! Ayacucho has the fleece, the structure, and attitude to be your next herdsire.
The rarest of the imports, full Bolivians are hard to come by these days. We specifically purchased Ayacucho's dam, Ivy, to breed exclusively with our own full Bolivian male, Phobos. We got just what we thought we would get, an alpaca with strong conformation, heavy bone, and fleece to get excited about! Ayacucho has incredible staple length and the consistency of his fleece is just as we anticipated. His second and third fleeces show uniformity across the entire blanket and virtually no guard hair, just like his daddy, Phobos.
Here's what our fiber sorter had to say about Ayacucho's cria fleece with the tips:
"Great luster, nice uniformity, low amp/high frequency crimp, and nice staple length." 8 out of 10 for brightness, 8 out of 10 for uniformity of crimp style, 6-7 crimps per inch, 8 out of 10 for density.
Ayacucho's first offspring should be on the ground in June!
It's tough to list this handsome male for sale but with two other Phobos sons currently in our herd, it really doesn't make sense to keep them all, although I would love to! We would also consider a partial interest sale.
This is your chance to add great lingering fineness genetics to your program by breeding your female to A RARE FULL BOLIVIAN!
Special intro stud fee on all drive by breedings.
